These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Product Options & Variants (“the App”), a BigCommerce application provided by Flowsplus (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Product Options & Variants is a BigCommerce app that allows merchants to add advanced product option fields, conditional logic, and add-on pricing to their BigCommerce stores. The App operates inside the BigCommerce control panel and injects a script into your storefront to render option forms on product pages.

2. Eligibility

You must have a valid BigCommerce store account to use the App. By accepting these Terms, you represent that you have the authority to bind the business on whose behalf you are installing the App.

3. Subscription and Billing

  • The App is billed through Polar, our third-party billing provider, separately from your BigCommerce invoice.
  • Subscription fees are charged monthly or yearly according to the plan and billing interval you select. See Billing & Subscription for current plans and pricing.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Manage Subscription page in the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. No partial-period refunds are issued.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App to collect or transmit sensitive personal data (such as payment card numbers or passwords) through option fields
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s source code
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or BigCommerce’s own Terms of Service
  • Resell or sublicense access to the App

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into the App (option sets, element configurations, product associations, etc.). We store this data on your behalf to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including all code, design, and documentation, is owned by Flowsplus and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App during your active subscription.

7. Availability and Support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that any defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flowsplus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flowsplus from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may terminate by uninstalling the App from your BigCommerce store.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes with at least 14 days’ notice via the email address associated with your BigCommerce account. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction of Flowsplus, without regard to conflict of law principles.
